Programme Structure
In addition to the project work, conceptual contents are taught in seminars of the Steinbeis University. An essential part of this programme is the in-company project. Students work on a relevant topic within a partner company documenting their proceedings and results in the Bachelor Thesis. This transfer of technical theories and tools into practical and valuable solutions for companies is the key to acquiring excellent transfer-competency.
The conceptual part of the studies is a combination of various modules. 60 per cent of the studies are composted of basic modules, 40 per cent of consolidation modules. One module takes 3 to 8 seminar days and requires the development of a Transfer-Documentation-Report.
Every student creates a seminar paper as his first scientific work, and a project report. The Bachelor-Thesis is the assignment where a solution for a practical issue is phrased.
The teaching language is German, but some seminars are held in English.

Degree
On successful completion of the programme, Steinbeis University Berlin will award the degree "Bachelor of Engineering". The Steinbeis University Berlin is nationally approved since 1998.
