The project-competence-doctorate
In December 2003, the senator for economics, research and culture in Berlin gave the SHB the right to award doctorates. The main part of this doctorate is a project of reasearch about an intra-company problem, in which the PhD student get´s proofed in self-reliant, scientific reasearch work. The doctorate has to be actual and relevant in order to give a capable solution for the problem and ougth to be remarkable and capable in it´s form and content.
Duration
The project-competence-doctorate takes a least 36 and maximum 72 months.
Degree
Doctor of economics (Dr. rer. oec.)
The publication of the dissertation is obligatory in:
- the Steinbeis-Edition
- scientific learned journals
- specialist printers
